From outdated WordPress site to a modern Next.js website with Inmovilla API and Sanity CMS
The challenge
Marmax Realty is a real-estate agency ( inmobiliaria ) based on Spain’s Costa Blanca, operating in areas such as Alicante, Elche, Altea, Calpe and Javea.
Their previous WordPress website was connected to the Inmovilla CRM but faced clear limitations: slow loading times, an outdated design and very little flexibility.
Many WordPress websites connected to Inmovilla eventually hit their limits in terms of layout customization and property filter options.
As a developer, I’m not bound by those restrictions — using a modern tech stack allows me to unlock much more potential from the same Inmovilla CRM integration.
The result was a standard template that no longer matched the image of a professional real-estate agency on the Costa Blanca.
The client’s request was clear:
“A warm, modern website with large visuals, user-friendly navigation and the freedom to manage content independently.”
The Costa Blanca real-estate reality
Most real-estate websites in Spain look alike: slow pages, cluttered menus and no sense of local identity.
Yet visitors decide within 0.05 seconds whether they stay or leave,
and 53% abandon a site that takes more than three seconds to load .
In a competitive market like Alicante, Moraira and Denia, every second — and every impression — matters.
A fast, modern and well-designed website isn’t a luxury; it’s essential for conversion and credibility.
The approach
I rebuilt the entire website in Next.js 15 , with Sanity CMS as a flexible content foundation.
Property listings still update automatically via the Inmovilla API , while all other content — texts, services, blog posts and testimonials — is now managed directly in Sanity.
This gives Marmax Realty full control over their site without depending on external developers.

The focus was on speed, SEO and trust-driven design for international buyers searching for real estate Costa Blanca , inmobiliaria Costa Blanca , houses for sale Benidorm or apartments in Villajoyosa .
The new design conveys calm and quality — large photography, warm tones and clear calls-to-action.
The site is fully responsive and multilingual (Dutch, English, Spanish).

This project proves that even with a CRM like Inmovilla, it’s possible to build a high-performance, modern and distinctive real-estate platform — when design and development truly work together.
