I built this real estate template to show what is possible with a fast frontend, CRM integration and a design focused on property search. The point is not to dismiss WordPress as a platform, but to demonstrate the control a custom frontend can provide.
In real estate, performance and mobile usability matter because visitors browse many images, filters and property-detail pages. Speed was therefore treated as a technical goal and measured on the final implementation.
The technical challenge
The challenge was to create a property template that feels distinct from many standard setups in Spain, with fast performance, current property data and a calm search experience for agencies in Benidorm, Alicante and elsewhere on the Costa Blanca.
Rather than relying on broad percentages about abandonment or mobile property searches, I assess this template on things I can actually measure: loading performance, responsive behaviour, filter usability, image optimisation and interface clarity.
My approach
I developed this showcase with Next.js and a Sooprema API integration. Property data is refreshed periodically and caching reduces unnecessary API requests. TypeScript helps catch errors earlier during development, but of course it does not mean software can never contain a bug.
The stack handles the required Sooprema property fields, multiple languages, advanced search filters and responsive design. The advantage is control over the frontend and data flow, not a claim that one stack automatically outperforms every WordPress site.
The result
The result is a fast real estate demo with current CRM data, clear filters and a design that keeps property imagery and information central. The measured performance applies to this implementation; there is no need to compare it with an unsupported 'typical WordPress site at 3 to 8 seconds'.
