What does cybersecurity mean for your business?

Cybersecurity means protecting the digital parts of your business: your website, business email and the accounts you use to sign in. When a customer sends an enquiry through your website, they should be able to trust that their information is handled with care.

For example, a customer receives an email that appears to come from your company, but you never sent it. Correct email settings make it harder to impersonate your domain. An additional sign-in step can also help protect your business accounts.

I review the settings relevant to your business. Afterwards, I explain what is already configured correctly, what needs attention and what any changes would cost. A security check helps identify risks; no one can guarantee complete security.

I work from La Nucía with businesses across the Costa Blanca, including Altea, Albir, Benidorm and Calpe. Most checks can be carried out remotely, with your permission.

    • Sign-in security: Review admin permissions, accounts and two-factor authentication where access is available.

    • Backups: Check whether backups exist and what is needed to restore the website.

    • What you receive: A report with findings and recommended improvements.

    • Logins: Configure two-factor authentication (MFA) where supported.

    • Settings: Improve agreed security headers or basic Cloudflare settings.

    • Testing: Test whether the changed settings work correctly.

    I check whether your business domain and email authentication are configured to help limit domain impersonation.

    • Domain settings: Check SPF, DKIM, DMARC and mail-routing (MX) records.

    • Sending services: Review the known services that send email using your domain.

    • Tests: Run available authentication tests and explain the results.

    • What you receive: A summary of what works and which settings need attention.

    • Scope: One domain and up to two sending services.
    • Changes: DNS changes are not included; these are covered by the separate setup service.

    • Testing: Test messages and perform one agreed follow-up check.

€245 for one domain with up to two sending services. I check which systems send email, configure settings carefully and test the result. Long-term monitoring is separate.

Business accounts

Secure business accounts

€195 for essential checks and simple improvements for up to five users in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, including admin rights, MFA and account recovery.

How a security check works

You tell me which website, email or accounts need checking. After receiving permission, I carry out the agreed checks and explain the findings. Any work beyond the check is agreed separately.

I check one website's HTTPS, known software vulnerabilities, access permissions, security settings and backups, where accessible. You receive a clear report. A full penetration test is not included.

No. Maintenance covers ongoing updates and management. A security check examines security risks and recommended measures. Updates already included in your maintenance plan are not charged twice.

These are business email authentication settings. SPF lists authorised sending servers, DKIM uses digital signatures, and DMARC tells receiving mail servers how to handle messages that fail the authentication policy. Together, they help limit misuse of your domain name.

An Email & Domain Check costs €125 excluding VAT. A Website Security Check costs €225 excluding VAT. Checking one website and one domain together costs €315 excluding VAT. Fixing discovered issues is included only when explicitly agreed.

No. Do not send passwords with your enquiry. If access is required, we agree how temporary access can be provided securely. Temporary permissions can be revoked after the work.
