Looking for someone to build a website for your business, or thinking about replacing the one you already have? I'm Chantal, a Dutch web designer based in La Nucía. I build websites for business owners, service providers and estate agents. With over 20 years of experience in sales and customer contact, I know which questions customers ask and what information they need before making an enquiry. We'll discuss how best to present your business and services on your website. You'll work directly with me, from the first conversation through to launch.

WordPress or a custom website

If you want a straightforward website where you can update your own text and photos, WordPress can be a good fit. That might be a website for an independent professional, restaurant, shop or local service business. I can help plan the pages, organise the content, set up contact options and make sure the website works on phones as well as computers.

Some projects need more than that. You may want a multilingual website, a CRM integration or information that updates automatically. For those projects I also work with Astro, Next.js and Sanity. I use Shopify for online stores too. We'll choose a setup that suits the way your business works and the parts of the site you want to manage yourself.

A website for customers who speak different languages

Businesses on the Costa Blanca often deal with people from several countries. A local service may need an English website, while another business wants Dutch and Spanish versions as well. We can decide which languages your customers actually use and organise the pages accordingly. Each language should have useful, natural text and its own clear route through the website. You can start with the languages you need today and add others later.

I'm based in La Nucía, near Albir, Altea and Benidorm. I also work with businesses elsewhere on the Costa Blanca, including areas such as Calpe, Benissa, Jávea and Alicante, as well as clients in the Netherlands. We can handle the project remotely, so you don't need to live or work nearby.

If most of your customers are in a particular town or area, your website should reflect that. We'll describe the places you genuinely serve and make it clear what people can contact you about. An estate agent showing properties in several towns needs different information from a local service provider working mainly around Benidorm. That local context is part of planning the website, alongside the pages, content and navigation.

How we work together

We start by discussing your plans and looking at the photos, copy and business information you already have. I'll put the pages together, organise the content and make sure the site works on desktop and mobile. If you want to update information yourself, I'll set up an appropriate CMS. After launch, I can also help with maintenance, technical issues, changes and additional features.
